Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Admission Counsellor role based at Dayananda Sagar Public School in Bengaluru.

The Admission

Counsellor will be responsible for guiding prospective families through the admission process, including responding to inquiries via phone, email, and in person, scheduling campus visits, and conducting school tours. The role involves explaining the school’s programs, curriculum, and policies, assessing applications, coordinating admission documentation, and maintaining accurate records of leads and conversions. The counsellor will collaborate with school leadership and teaching staff to support enrollment targets,



participate in admission events and outreach activities, and provide timely follow-up and support to ensure a positive experience for students and families.

Qualifications

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage confidently and empathetically with students, parents, and guardians.
- Customer service and relationship-building skills, including active listening, problem-solving, and a professional, student-centric approach.
- Organizational and administrative skills, such as handling documentation, maintaining admission records, and managing multiple inquiries simultaneously.
- Basic computer literacy and experience using MS Office, email, and admission or CRM systems for data entry and reporting.
- Knowledge or familiarity with CBSE curriculum and school admission processes, preferably in K-10 education.
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; a background in education, counselling, psychology, or administration is an advantage.
- Prior experience in school admissions, counselling, or front office operations will be considered beneficial.
- Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru, adapt to a dynamic school environment, and collaborate effectively with academic and administrative teams.
