Urgent : Accounts & Finance Manager @ Mumbai

Role Overview

- We are seeking an experienced & detail-oriented Manager to lead our Accounts & Finance function.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing financial management, ensuring statutory compliance, & guiding a team of finance professionals.
- This is a critical leadership role that supports decision-making & ensures fiscal discipline across the organization.

Qualifications & Experience

- Inter CA with 8 + Years of Experience in a manufacturing setup
- Proficiency in MS Excel & Tally ERP / SAP accounting software.
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, & accounting standards.
- Good analytical, communication, & documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently, handle pressure, & meet deadlines.
- Hands-on experience in handling audits, compliance, & banking coordination.

Preferred Profile

- Candidates with prior experience in the banking sector, preferably ex-bankers, will be given preference.
- Experience in handling Banking Operations, Loan Documentation, Fund Management, LC (Letter of Credit), BG (Bank Guarantees), & coordination with banks is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of banking processes & Financial Transactions

Key Responsibilities 1. Balance Sheet Preparation

- Prepare monthly, quarterly, & annual balance sheets.
- Ensure accuracy & compliance with accounting standards & regulatory requirements.




- Support finalization of accounts & coordinate with auditors during internal & statutory audits.

2. Financial & Bank Coordination

- Handle day-to-day banking operations including payments, receipts, & bank reconciliations.
- Coordinate with banks for loan documentation, overdraft limits, fund transfers, & other financial requirements.
- Manage & maintain banking records & ensure timely updating of all

transactions.
- Handle working knowledge of LC (Letter of Credit) & BGs (Bank Guarantees), including documentation & coordination with banks.

3. MIS Reporting

- Prepare, analyze, and present accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP/IFRS. for management review.
- Analyze financial data & present insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Track budgets, variances, payables, receivables, & cash flows.

4. Taxation & Compliance

- Prepare & file GST returns, TDS returns, & Income Tax returns , statutory deductions
- Ensure statutory compliance for all direct & indirect taxes.
- Maintain proper documentation for all tax-related activities
- Support & coordinate during tax internal/external audits.

5. General Accounting

- Maintain accurate accounting records including ledgers, vouchers, & journals.
- Handle vendor reconciliation, customer ledger reconciliation, & monthly bank reconciliations.& other accounting schedules.
- Support month-end & year-end closing activities.
- Ensure strong compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, & applicable accounting standards.
