ERP Functional Consultant – Finance & AccountingRole OverviewWe are looking for an ERP Functional Consultant – Finance & Accounting with 2–3 years of experience in accounting software or ERP implementation.

The candidate should have experience in Zoho Books, QuickBooks, Xero, or similar accounting/ERP software and should be comfortable handling clients, understanding requirements, configuring the system, testing, and providing training.

Key Responsibilities

- Understand client business and accounting requirements.
- Configure accounting modules based on client requirements.
- Set up Chart of Accounts, customers, suppliers, taxes, bank/cash accounts, sales, purchases, expenses and opening balances.
- Understand and map sales, purchases, payments, receipts, returns, expenses and inventory transactions.
- Validate accounting entries and financial reports.
- Conduct testing and UAT before go-live.
- Support clients during implementation and go-live.
- Train clients on the accounting module and workflows.
- Identify configuration issues and coordinate with Product/Technical teams.
- Prepare implementation documents and reports.
- Provide post-implementation support when required.





Required Skills
- 2–3 years of experience in ERP/Accounting Software Implementation.
- Hands-on experience with Zoho Books / QuickBooks / Xero / similar software.
- Good knowledge of accounting and double-entry bookkeeping.
- Understanding of GST/VAT and accounting transactions.
- Knowledge of P&L;, Balance Sheet, Trial Balance, AR, AP and General Ledger.
- Valuable client communication and requirement-gathering skills.
- Experience in testing, data validation and reconciliation.
- Good Excel skills.

Preferred
- Experience in POS, Retail, F&B; or Distribution ERP.
- Knowledge of inventory accounting.
- Experience with POS–Inventory–Accounting integration.
- SaaS/cloud software experience.

QualificationB.Com / M.Com / MBA Finance / CA Inter or related qualification. Ideal CandidateSomeone who understands both accounting and technology and can independently handle client requirements → configuration → testing → training → go-live.
