About the Role Vulcan Laboratories Pvt. Ltd., a Kolkata-based injectable pharmaceutical manufacturer, is looking for a sincere and detail-oriented Accountant to handle day-to-day accounting, statutory returns and audit support for our group entities (Private Limited and Partnership Firm). You will maintain the books in Tally, prepare TDS and GST returns, and coordinate with our Chartered Accountant during finalisation.

Key Responsibilities · Maintain day-to-day accounts in Tally Prime — sales, purchase, bank, journal and payment vouchers. · Prepare and file TDS returns (Form 24Q / 26Q) — challan mapping, deductee entry and FVU validation. · Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B) and reconcile GSTR-2B with purchase records. · Maintain reconciliations, schedules and MIS reports in MS Excel.



· Assist the Chartered Accountant during year-end finalisation and audit — provide schedules and respond to queries on the books of accounts. · Support company (ROC / MCA) filing and maintain statutory records and compliance timelines. · Ensure accuracy, timely compliance and confidentiality of financial data.

Candidate

Requirements · B.Com / M.Com graduate. · Working knowledge of Tally Prime. · Understanding of TDS and GST return preparation. · Basic to positive MS Excel (formulas, VLOOKUP, pivot tables). · Exposure to company / ROC filing is an added advantage. · Accurate, responsible and willing to learn; able to meet deadlines. · Kolkata-based candidates preferred.
