About the RoleWe are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to manage the day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities of our business.

The ideal candidate should have strong fundamentals in accounting, be comfortable working independently, and have a positive understanding of bookkeeping, reconciliations, invoices, payments, and basic financial controls.

We primarily use Zoho Books, so prior experience with Zoho Books will be an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain accurate day-to-day books of accounts
- Record purchase invoices, sales invoices, expenses, receipts, and payments
- Verify bills and supporting documents before recording transactions
- Perform regular bank reconciliations and ensure books match bank transactions
- Manage accounts payable and track outstanding payments
- Prepare and process day-to-day vendor and business payments
- Maintain proper records of customer and supplier accounts
- Monitor receivables and payables and follow up on outstanding items
- Assist with GST and other statutory accounting requirements
- Maintain accurate ledgers and supporting documentation
- Identify discrepancies, missing entries,



or unusual transactions and resolve them promptly
- Assist management with basic financial reports and accounting information
- Ensure accounting records are complete, accurate, and up to date

What We Are Looking For
- Strong understanding of fundamental accounting principles
- Good knowledge of bookkeeping and double-entry accounting
- Comfortable with bank reconciliation and ledger management
- Good understanding of invoices, expenses, receivables, payables, and payments
- Working knowledge of GST and basic statutory compliance
- Proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets
- Experience with Zoho Books is preferred
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to take ownership of routine accounting activities
- Good communication and organisational skills

Experience3+ years of relevant accounting experience preferred with exceptionally strong accounting fundamentals and practical understanding.
