Hiring For: Account Executive - Sports

We are on the hunt for a ‘Account Executive – Sports’, who understands the pulse of the sports industry, can think creatively, and knows how to turn ideas into engaging brand communication. And who has preferably prior agency experience.

Responsibilities

· Write, edit, and proofread sports-related articles, features, and opinion pieces with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

· Stay updated with the latest sports news, trends, and developments to create timely and relevant content.

· Produce a mix of long-form articles, short blog posts, news reports, and in-depth analysis across a wide range of sports.

· Collaborate with editors, content strategists, and SEO teams to develop content that drives traffic and engagement.

· Ensure all content aligns with the brand’s tone, voice, and style guidelines.

· Conduct thorough research and fact-checking to ensure content accuracy.

· Mentor and guide junior writers to maintain high editorial standards within the team.

· Use analytics tools to assess content performance and adjust strategies to increase engagement and reach.

· Accessible and available for clients and team needs, with the ability to work flexible hours and shifts when required

· Long-term Account Planning and large campaign management

· Presentation of ideas, campaigns and calendars to stakeholders

· Growth strategies and collaboration opportunities

Coordination & execution & posting:





· Coordinating with the designers & editors to turn your wittingly-written copies into aesthetically pleasing posts.

· Ability to select appealing images and videos to complement the text (added bonus.)

· Editing and publishing the content created on various social platforms, primarily Instagram, Facebook, & Twitter.

Implementing Feedback

· Optimizing the monthly calendar based on analytics, and audience behavior.

Qualifications

- Bachelors’ degree in any stream.
- 3+ years of professional content writing experience.
- Strong knowledge of various sports, athletes, and major sports events, leagues, and tournaments.
- Ability to write compelling headlines and engaging copy that drives readership.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong editing and proof reading skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Experience with content management systems (CMS) such as Word Press.

Preferred Skills

- Familiarity with sports analytics and data-driven storytelling.
- Experience writing for both digital and print platforms.
- Knowledge of social media trends and sports content marketing strategies.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and adapt to a quick-paced work environment.

· Immediate joiner preferred.
