We are looking for an experienced 3PL & Logistics Operations Manager to manage and optimise end-to-end logistics operations, including freight forwarding, import/export, transportation, JIT logistics, warehousing, and inventory management.

The role will be responsible for coordinating with 3PL partners, freight forwarders, shipping lines, airlines, customs teams, warehouses, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure the timely, cost-effective, and accurate movement and storage of goods.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience across Sea & Air Freight, Import & Export, 3PL operations, JIT logistics, warehouse operations, and inventory control.

Key ResponsibilitiesFreight Forwarding & Import/Export

- Manage end-to-end international freight forwarding operations across Sea and Air shipments.
- Coordinate import and export shipments with freight forwarders, shipping lines, airlines, customs agents, and logistics partners.
- Manage shipment documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, airway bills, and other relevant shipping documents.
- Monitor shipment schedules, transit times, delivery timelines, and exceptions.
- Coordinate customs clearance activities and ensure timely movement of inbound and outbound shipments.
- Track and resolve shipment delays, documentation issues, customs holds, and other logistics exceptions.
- Evaluate freight rates and work with logistics partners to optimise transportation costs.
- Maintain strong relationships with freight forwarders and logistics service providers.

3PL & Logistics Management
- Manage day-to-day operations with 3PL and logistics partners.
- Monitor 3PL performance against agreed SLAs, KPIs, service levels, cost, and delivery timelines.
- Coordinate transportation, distribution, warehousing, and fulfilment activities.
- Identify operational gaps and implement corrective actions to improve logistics efficiency.
- Manage logistics escalations and ensure timely resolution of operational issues.
- Support vendor evaluation, negotiation,



performance reviews, and cost optimisation initiatives.

JIT & Supply Chain Operations
- Coordinate Just-in-Time (JIT) deliveries to ensure materials and products are available when required.
- Work closely with procurement, suppliers, production/operations, warehouse, and planning teams to align supply with demand.
- Monitor delivery schedules and ensure materials reach the required location within agreed timelines.
- Proactively identify potential supply or transportation disruptions and develop contingency plans.
- Improve delivery reliability while minimising unnecessary inventory and logistics costs.

Warehouse & Inventory Management
- Oversee warehouse operations including inbound, storage, picking, packing, dispatch, and outbound activities.
- Monitor inventory levels, stock movement, stock accuracy, and warehouse utilisation.
- Ensure accurate inventory records across physical stock and ERP/WMS systems.
- Coordinate regular cycle counts and stock audits.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, damages, shortages, and excess stock.
- Improve warehouse processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and space utilisation.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and movement of inventory.

Reporting & Performance Management
- Track and report key logistics and warehouse KPIs.
- Monitor freight costs, transportation performance, inventory accuracy, warehouse productivity, and 3PL performance.
- Prepare regular reports on logistics performance, shipment status, inventory, and operational issues.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction, process improvement, and operational efficiency.




- Use data and operational insights to support logistics and supply chain decision-making.

Required Experience & Skills
- 5–10 years of experience in Logistics, Supply Chain, Freight Forwarding, 3PL, Warehouse Operations, or a related field.
- Strong hands-on experience in Sea & Air Freight Forwarding.
- Experience managing Import & Export logistics operations.
- Solid understanding of international shipping and freight forwarding processes.
- Experience managing 3PL/logistics service providers.
- Practical experience in JIT logistics and time-sensitive deliveries.
- Strong exposure to warehouse and inventory management.
- Experience working with ERP/WMS systems and maintaining inventory accuracy.
- Strong vendor and stakeholder management skills.
- Good understanding of logistics KPIs, SLAs, freight costs, and operational metrics.
- Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple shipments, vendors, and operational priorities simultaneously.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.

Preferred Experience
- Experience working with international supply chains.
- Experience managing multiple freight forwarders or 3PL partners.
- Exposure to customs clearance and international trade documentation.
- Experience with warehouse management systems and ERP platforms.
- Experience in logistics cost optimisation and vendor negotiations.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven supply chain environment.

Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate will be an end-to-end logistics professional who understands both the strategic and operational aspects of supply chain execution. They should be comfortable managing freight forwarding, import/export, 3PL partners, JIT deliveries, warehouse operations, and inventory, while ensuring high service levels, accurate inventory, timely deliveries, and controlled logistics costs.

Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹1,500,000.00 per year
