About the Role

n

Republic TV is looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Video Producer to join its

n

newsroom team. The ideal candidate will have strong editorial judgment, hands-on

n

experience in non-linear production, and a solid understanding of live news production &

n

PCR workflows. The candidate must have worked in a News channel

n

handling news operations. The candidate should also possess working

n

knowledge of PCR operations to effectively coordinate between editorial teams during live broadcasts.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

* Curate news packages, explainers, special reports, promos, and breaking news content

n

in a fast-paced newsroom workplace.

n

* Produce compelling visual stories by integrating video, graphics, sound bites, and

n

newsroom assets.

n

* Coordinate with reporters, anchors, output teams, graphics, and PCR personnel to

n

ensure seamless execution of news bulletins and special programming.

n

* Ensure editorial accuracy, visual quality, and adherence to broadcast standards.

n





* Handle quick-turnaround edits during breaking news situations while maintaining high

n

production quality.

n

* Support live production requirements by understanding rundown structures, cueing,

n

timing, and newsroom workflows.

n

* Assist in packaging business, markets, economy, and corporate news content in an engaging and viewer-friendly format.

n

Required Skills & Qualifications

n

* Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, Media Studies, or a related field.

n

* 3–5 years of experience in television news production.

n

* Working knowledge of PCR operations, rundown management, timing, and live show coordination.

n

* Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a 24x7 news

n

environment.

n

* Excellent communication, coordination, and teamwork skills.

n

Preferred Qualifications

n

* Prior experience in news production.

n
