About the Role

n

We are looking for a creative, driven, and detail-oriented Fashion Designer to join our design team at a well-renowned womenswear brand, TheLoom. This role is ideal for someone passionate about fashion, who has a strongeye for color, silhouette, and detail, and is eager to take ownership of collections

n

from concept to final product under the guidance of the Design Team Lead.

n

Key Responsibilities:-

n

 Independently manage seasonal collections from ideation to final product.

n

 Research trends and develop creative concepts, mood boards, and seasonal themes.

n

 Design womenswear collections with a strong understanding of silhouettes, fit,

n

and garment construction.

n

 Develop embroidery concepts and work closely with sampling and production teams to execute designs.

n

 Create detailed style sheets, technical specifications, and design

n

documentation.

n

 Assist in print development and create basic print layouts using Photoshopand/or Procreate.

n

 Source and select fabrics, trims, and embellishments suitable for each

n

collection.

n

 Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including merchandising,production, sampling, and sourcing.

n





 Participate in fittings and incorporate feedback into design revisions.

n

 Ensure timely execution of collections while maintaining the brand's aesthetic and quality standards.

n

 Make informed design decisions and proactively solve creative and execution-related challenges.

n

Required Skills

n

 Degree or Diploma in Fashion Design.

n

 1–3 years of experience in womenswear design (fresh graduates with

n

exceptional portfolios may also apply).

n

 Robust understanding of womenswear silhouettes, garment construction, andfit.

n

 Excellent color sensibility and trend awareness.

n

 Good knowledge of embroidery techniques and embellishment development.

n

 Strong understanding of fabrics, textiles, and material selection.

n

 Ability to create mood boards, illustrations, and collection presentations.

n

 Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and/or Procreate (mandatory).

n

 Basic knowledge of print development and surface design.

n

 Strong illustration and sketching skills.

n

 Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

n
