This role involves managing ethnic dress exhibitions across multiple cities in India, handling end-to-end exhibition operations, customer interactions, and billing. The position requires frequent travel for a few months at a stretch and solid on-ground coordination skills.
Key responsibilities
Exhibition Management: Oversee and manage exhibitions at various locations across India, ensuring smooth setup and operations throughout the event.
Sales Management: Handle the sales counter at exhibitions, assist customers with their purchases, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
Customer Interaction: Engage with customers, address inquiries, and provide detailed information about the ethnic dresses on display.
Billing & Transactions: Manage the billing process, ensure accuracy in transactions, handle payments, and maintain records of sales.
Product Display: Organize and display ethnic dresses effectively to attract customers, while keeping the exhibition space tidy and visually appealing.
Travel & Setup:
Travel frequently to different cities, ensure timely arrival, and manage proper exhibition setup, including booth arrangement and coordination with venue staff.
Logistics Coordination: Handle the logistics involved in transporting products to and from exhibition locations, ensuring they are well cared for during transit.
Significant note
This role requires extensive travel within India for a few months, regular interaction with customers, and hands-on involvement in billing and sales operations during exhibitions.
Compensation & advantages
Over and above the salary, you will be eligible for a per diem amount towards food expenses during exhibition travel.
Accommodation will be arranged and managed by the organisation during travel.
Travel for exhibition-related work will also be managed by the organisation.
