**Role Description:

EHS Specialist – Industrial Hygiene**

We are looking for an EHS Specialist – Industrial Hygiene to join our team and support Industrial Hygiene and EHS consulting projects across pharmaceutical, chemical, manufacturing, and other industrial environments.

The role will involve supporting clients in identifying occupational health hazards, conducting workplace exposure assessments, developing monitoring strategies, interpreting results, and recommending practical risk-control measures.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct Industrial Hygiene surveys and workplace exposure assessments.




- Plan and execute personal and area air monitoring for chemical, particulate, noise, heat stress and other occupational hazards.
- Support development of Qualitative and Quantitative Exposure Assessments (QLEA/QNEA).
- Evaluate occupational exposure against applicable OELs and recognised standards/guidelines.
- Support development and implementation of Industrial Hygiene monitoring programs.
- Interpret laboratory analytical results and prepare technical reports.
- Conduct chemical hazard assessments and support OEB/OEL-related evaluations.
- Participate in workplace assessments.
- Support clients in identifying appropriate engineering and administrative controls.
- Prepare professional technical reports, presentations and client deliverables.
- Interact with client EHS, occupational health, engineering and operations teams.
- Travel to client sites as required for surveys, assessments and project execution.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 3–7 years of relevant experience in Industrial Hygiene/EHS, preferably in pharmaceutical, chemical, manufacturing or similar industries.
- Strong understanding of Industrial Hygiene principles, exposure assessment and the hierarchy of controls.
- Practical experience with workplace monitoring equipment and sampling techniques.
- Valuable knowledge of occupational exposure limits and recognised IH standards/guidelines.
- Good technical report-writing and communication skills.
- Willingness to travel to client sites across India and, where required, internationallyh .
