Job Summary
We are looking for a Liaisoning & Compliance Executive – Agriculture to manage agriculture-related licenses, registrations, documentation, government coordination, regulatory compliance and seller coordination activities.
The candidate will be responsible for coordinating with government departments and regulatory authorities and handling licensing and compliance requirements.
The candidate will also be responsible for approaching prospective sellers, completing seller agreements, and maintaining strong relationships with existing sellers.
The role requires regular follow-up, good communication skills, documentation ability and willingness to travel across India for government and business-related activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Licensing & Regulatory Compliance
- Manage agriculture-related licenses, registrations and renewals.
- Prepare and submit applications and required documents.
- Coordinate with Agriculture Departments, Government Authorities and Regulatory Bodies.
- Handle government office visits and regular follow-ups.
- Maintain records of licenses, certificates, approvals and compliance documents.
- Track license expiry dates and ensure timely renewals.
- Support state-wise licensing and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare compliance reports and maintain trackers in Excel/Google Sheets.
- Coordinate internally to collect documents required for registrations and approvals.
- Ensure timely completion of regulatory and compliance-related activities.
- Government Liaisoning
- Act as a point of contact for government departments and regulatory authorities.
- Visit government offices for submissions, follow-ups, approvals and clarifications.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with relevant government officials and departments.
- Understand regulatory requirements and communicate them internally to the concerned teams.
- Follow up regularly to ensure applications, registrations and approvals are completed on time.
- Prospective Seller Acquisition & Agreements
- Identify and approach prospective sellers, distributors, manufacturers and suppliers in the agriculture sector.
- Communicate with prospective sellers to understand their products, business requirements and interest in partnering with the company.
- Explain company requirements, seller processes, documentation and commercial expectations.
- Coordinate the collection and verification of seller documents.
- Negotiate and coordinate the completion of seller agreements as per company guidelines.
- Follow up with prospective sellers until onboarding and agreement completion.
- Coordinate with internal teams for seller onboarding and documentation.
- Existing Seller Relationship Management
- Maintain professional and long-term relationships with existing sellers.
- Regularly communicate with sellers to understand their problems, concerns and requirements.
- Identify seller-related issues and coordinate with internal departments for timely resolution.
- Communicate company expectations, policies,
documentation requirements and compliance requirements clearly to sellers.
- Take regular feedback from sellers and share relevant feedback with management.
- Ensure sellers are aware of and comply with company and regulatory requirements.
- Support the business team in maintaining healthy and productive seller relationships.
- Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of licenses, registrations, seller agreements and compliance documents.
- Maintain seller-related trackers and follow-up records.
- Prepare regular reports on licensing, compliance, seller onboarding and pending activities.
- Monitor deadlines and ensure timely follow-ups.
- Maintain proper documentation of government and seller communications.
- Travel & Field Coordination
- Travel across India for licensing, compliance, government liaisoning and seller-related work.
- Visit government offices, seller locations, manufacturers, distributors and other relevant establishments whenever required.
- Conduct field-level follow-ups and coordinate with concerned stakeholders.
Required Skills
- B.Sc. / M.Sc. Agriculture qualification.
- Knowledge of agriculture-related licensing and compliance processes.
- Good communication and government liaisoning skills.
- Solid follow-up and documentation skills.
- Good negotiation and relationship management skills.
- Ability to approach and communicate with prospective sellers.
- Ability to understand seller problems and coordinate for solutions.
- Basic to good knowledge of MS Excel / Google Sheets.
- Ability to independently handle government office visits.
- Ability to maintain professional relationships with government authorities and sellers.
- Willingness to travel across India.
- Valid driving license will be preferred.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
