Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and result-oriented Solar O&M; Manager to oversee the operation and maintenance of utility-scale and commercial & industrial (C&I;) solar power plants. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring maximum plant availability, optimal energy generation, safety compliance, client satisfaction, and efficient team management.

Key Responsibilities

Plant Operations & Performance

- Monitor daily plant performance, generation, PR, CUF, and availability.
- Analyse generation losses and identify corrective actions.
- Ensure maximum plant uptime and operational efficiency.
- Review SCADA data and performance reports.

Maintenance Management

- Plan and execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities.
- Ensure timely resolution of inverter, transformer, SCB, HT/LT, and module-related issues.
- Maintain maintenance records and asset history.

Team Leadership

- Manage and supervise site engineers, technicians, and subcontractors.
- Allocate resources effectively across multiple sites.
- Conduct regular technical and safety training programs.

Client Management

- Serve as the primary point of contact for O&M; clients.
- Conduct review meetings and present performance reports.
- Ensure compliance with contractual SLAs and client expectations.

Safety & Compliance

- Enforce electrical safety standards and company HSE policies.
- Conduct safety audits, toolbox talks, and risk assessments.




- Ensure statutory and regulatory compliance at all sites.

Reporting & Documentation

- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
- Develop Root Cause Analysis (RCA) reports for major incidents.
- Maintain documentation related to maintenance, inventory, and compliance.

Cost Optimization

- Manage O&M; budgets and control operational expenses.
- Optimize spare parts inventory and procurement processes.
- Implement initiatives to improve plant performance and reduce downtime.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5–10 years of experience in Solar O&M.;
- Experience managing utility-scale and C&I; solar projects.
- Strong knowledge of solar inverters, transformers, SCADA systems, protection systems, and electrical troubleshooting.
