The role

You own a product line end-to-end. Not a function within it — the whole thing. Hardware, software, launch, revenue, and the customer after they've bought it. You will be the single person in the company who is accountable for whether your product succeeds.

This is deliberately structured as a founder role inside a large company: no team beneath you on day one, no fixed remit, and full latitude to decide what your product should be.

What you'll own

Product & hardware

- Drive recent product development with hardware vendors in China — specs, BOM and cost trade-offs, tooling, sample reviews, DVT/PVT gates.
- Own the PRD. Define what gets built, in what order, and what "done" looks like.
- Run firmware and software delivery with our engineering partners — release cadence, feature scope, bug triage, launch sign-off

Consumer & positioning

- Sit close to real users. Store visits, user testing, app reviews, support tickets — and translate that into product decisions rather than a slide.




- Continuous competitive benchmarking: teardowns, spec comparisons, pricing moves from Meta and the Chinese entrants.

Go-to-market

- Own the launch: PDP and app surfaces, retail rollout, store demo experience and staff enablement, brand and performance marketing briefs, influencer and content campaigns.
- Own the launch calendar and hold every function to it.

Business

- Own the P&L; for your product. Pricing, promotions, unit economics, demand forecasting, inventory planning, sell-through.
- Weekly business review: activation, attach rate, conversion, returns, NPS.

Partnerships & post-sale

- Manage external partners — chipset, platform and content players such as Google and Qualcomm — on both technical integration and commercial terms.
- Own after-sales: warranty and RMA policy, service TAT, support playbooks, and closing the loop from field failures back into the next build.
