Job Description – GeM Specialist
Position: GeM Specialist
Experience: 2–5 Years
Location: Sector 63, Noida
Employment Type: Full-Time
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced GeM Specialist with 2–5 years of experience in Government e-Marketplace (GeM), tendering, bid management, and government procurement processes. The ideal candidate should have experience handling the complete tendering cycle and preferably have worked with clients from the IT Services domain.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end GeM bidding and tender management process, from opportunity identification to bid submission and closure.
- Search, evaluate, and track relevant GeM bids, tenders, RFPs, and government procurement opportunities.
- Prepare and submit technical and commercial bids in compliance with tender requirements.
- Coordinate with internal technical, finance, legal, and sales teams for timely bid preparation.
- Review tender documents, eligibility criteria, technical specifications, BOQ, EMD, and other compliance requirements.
- Ensure accurate and timely submission of bids and supporting documents on the GeM portal.
- Maintain records of submitted bids, participation status, results, and upcoming opportunities.
- Monitor amendments, corrigenda, deadlines, and updates related to ongoing tenders.
- Coordinate with clients/departments wherever required during the tendering and procurement process.
- Support post-bid activities, including clarification responses, negotiations, order processing, and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with applicable GeM and government procurement guidelines.
Required Skills & Experience
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in GeM, tender management, bid management, or government procurement.
- Experience in the IT Services / IT Solutions domain will be preferred.
- Strong understanding of the GeM Portal and government tendering process.
- Hands-on experience managing end-to-end bid/tender processes.
- Positive knowledge of tender documentation, eligibility criteria, technical compliance, and commercial submissions.
- Strong coordination, documentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tenders and deadlines simultaneously.
- Good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel and Word.
Preferred Experience
- Experience handling tenders for NIC, Central/State Government departments, Ministries, PSUs, or Defence-related projects will be an advantage.
- Experience working with government clients and handling large IT service/technology tenders will be preferred.
Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
