The Liaison Officer will be responsible for coordinating and following up with government departments, statutory agencies, clients, consultants to facilitate smooth execution of contract works. The role will ensure timely processing of permissions, approvals, inspections, measurements, bills, certificates, and other project-related documentation.
Key Responsibilities
1. Government & Department Coordination
Liaise with government departments, municipal authorities, development authorities, utilities, and other statutory bodies.
Coordinate with departments such as GHMC/municipal corporations, HMDA/DTCP, Roads & Buildings, Panchayat Raj, Irrigation, Electricity, Water Board, Pollution Control Board, Fire Department and other relevant authorities, as applicable.
Follow up on Measurements, Bills, EMD/RMD release, inspections and certificates.
Maintain qualified relationships with relevant officials and departmental staff.
2. Contract & Project Support
Coordinate with the client, Engineer-in-Charge, consultants, contractors and subcontractors.
Follow up on work orders, agreements, drawings, approvals and project correspondence.
Assist the project team in resolving administrative and departmental issues affecting project progress.
Coordinate site inspections and departmental visits.
3. Measurements,
Bills & Payments
Coordinate with concerned departments for recording measurements and processing bills.
Follow up on Running Account (RA) bills, final bills, payment certificates, security deposits and other contractual payments.
Track pending bills and identify reasons for delays.
Coordinate submission and correction of supporting documents.
4. Documentation & Compliance
Maintain records of applications, approvals, letters, inspection reports, certificates and departmental correspondence.
Ensure timely submission of required documents.
Maintain an updated status report of all permissions, approvals and pending matters.
Assist in preparing letters, representations and official correspondence.
5. Site & Field Coordination
Regularly visit project sites and government offices as required.
Coordinate departmental inspections, measurements and verification.
Communicate project requirements and issues to the Project Manager/Management.
Follow up on matters related to utilities, road access, water, electricity and other site requirements.
Pay: ₹11,964.50 - ₹57,892.43 per month
Experience:
- government bill processing: 5 years (Preferred)
