Quality Control Engineer – Electrical Panels

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Quality Control Engineer with experience in electrical panel manufacturing to ensure the quality and reliability of electrical panels through incoming inspection, in-process inspection, final inspection, testing, documentation, and corrective actions.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct incoming, in-process, and final quality inspection of electrical panels and materials.
- Inspect electrical wiring, busbar assembly, panel assembly, and mechanical fitment as per drawings and specifications.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, GA drawings, BOMs, and technical specifications.
- Identify defects, prepare QC reports, NCRs, and corrective action reports, and follow up for closure.
- Maintain quality records, inspection reports, checklists, and panel traceability.
- Perform and maintain inspection, testing, measuring instruments, and calibration records.
- Coordinate with Production, Engineering, Service, and Stores teams to resolve quality issues.
- Support troubleshooting, quality improvement, and root cause analysis.




- Ensure compliance with applicable quality and safety standards.
- Maintain 5S and housekeeping in the assigned QC/production area.

Requirements

- BE/B.Tech/Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
- 2–6 years of experience in Quality Control / Quality Assurance, preferably in electrical panel or switchgear manufacturing.
- Knowledge of LT/HT Panels, PCC, MCC, APFC, AMF, control panels, switchgear, wiring, and busbar assembly.
- Knowledge of inspection, testing, quality documentation, NCR, corrective action, and calibration.
- Ability to read electrical and GA drawings.
- Basic knowledge of ERP, MS Excel, and QC documentation.
- Valuable communication, problem-solving, attention to detail, and coordination skills.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹41,000.00 per month
