Job Profile

Multiflo Instruments Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an Application Engineer to work closely with customers and our sales and technical teams for a wide range of analytical, laboratory, material testing and scientific instruments.

The primary responsibility will be to understand customers’ applications and technical requirements and recommend suitable instruments and configurations from our product portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

Interact with customers to understand their application, sample type, testing requirements, specifications and relevant standards.
Study customer requirements and recommend the most appropriate instrument, model and configuration.
Provide technical support to the sales team during customer discussions, meetings and presentations.
Prepare and review technical specifications, compliance statements, quotations and technical proposals.
Coordinate with our international OEMs/principals to obtain technical information and identify the correct solution for customer applications.
Handle technical discussions related to instruments used for chemical analysis, material characterization, thermal analysis, spectroscopy, elemental analysis, polymer testing and other laboratory/testing applications.
Assist with government, PSU and private-sector tenders, including reviewing tender specifications, preparing technical compliance documents and coordinating required documentation.
Regularly follow up with customers on quotations and proposals already submitted, understand the current status of the requirement and provide any additional technical information required to move the project forward.
Maintain proper records of customer enquiries,



quotations, technical discussions and follow-up status.
Participate in customer meetings, exhibitions and technical presentations when required.
Coordinate with the service/application team where demonstrations, installations or application support are required.
Product and application training will be provided for the instruments represented by Multiflo Instruments.

Qualification

Candidates should have one of the following qualifications:

M.Sc. in Chemistry
M.Sc. in Physics
B.E./B.Tech in Chemical Engineering
B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering
Other relevant engineering/science qualifications may also be considered based on experience.

Experience & Skills

3–5 years of relevant experience, preferably with laboratory instruments, analytical instruments, scientific equipment, testing instruments or similar technical products.
Strong ability to understand customer requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Valuable written and verbal communication skills in English are essential.
Comfortable communicating directly with customers through phone, email, online meetings and face-to-face discussions.
Ability to read and understand technical specifications, standards and tender documents.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Should be proactive with customer follow-ups and comfortable working in a technical sales/application-oriented role.

The position is suitable for someone with a strong technical background who enjoys customer interaction, understanding applications, solving technical requirements and supporting the sales process from enquiry through quotation and follow-up.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
