Sales & Store Supervisor – Retail

About the Role

We are looking for a Sales & Store Supervisor to manage day-to-day store operations, drive sales, handle inventory, and supervise store staff. The ideal candidate should have experience working in a supermarket, hypermarket, or organized retail environment.

Candidates with experience in DMart, Star Bazaar, Blinkit, Reliance Smart, More Retail, Spencer’s, Nature’s Basket, or similar retail brands will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the daily operations of the store and ensure smooth functioning.
- Drive store sales and achieve daily/monthly sales targets.
- Supervise and coordinate with store staff and allocate daily responsibilities.
- Handle stock receiving, inventory, replenishment, and stock movement.
- Monitor product availability, pricing, displays, and merchandising.
- Conduct regular stock checks and inventory reconciliation.
- Monitor wastage, damages, and stock discrepancies.
- Ensure proper store cleanliness, hygiene, safety, and SOP compliance.
- Handle customer queries and resolve basic customer complaints.
- Coordinate with suppliers, warehouse,



delivery teams, and internal departments.
- Maintain daily sales, stock, and operational reports.
- Support management in improving store sales and operational efficiency.

Required Skills

- Minimum 1 year of experience in retail/store operations.
- Experience in supermarket, hypermarket, grocery, or organized retail is preferred.
- Good knowledge of sales, inventory, and stock management.
- Ability to handle and supervise store staff.
- Good communication and customer-handling skills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and POS/retail billing systems.
- Target-oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced retail setting.
- Willingness to work in retail store shifts and weekends as required.

Preferred Candidates

Candidates currently or previously working with DMart, Star Bazaar, Blinkit, Reliance Smart, More Retail, Spencer’s, Nature’s Basket, or similar retail/supermarket brands will be given preference.

Note: Candidates with hands-on experience in both sales and store operations will be highly preferred.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
