## Senior Commissioning Manager / Commissioning Manager – Hyperscale Data Centre

### Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced **Senior Commissioning Manager / Commissioning Manager** to join a major **hyperscale data centre project **.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing commissioning activities across complex mission-critical infrastructure, from **design review and commissioning planning through pre-commissioning, functional testing, performance testing, Integrated Systems Testing (IST), defect resolution and final handover**.

The role is suitable for experienced professionals from a **Mechanical, Electrical or Building Services Engineering** background who have strong commissioning management, technical and stakeholder-management experience.

### Key Responsibilities

#### Commissioning Management

* Lead and manage commissioning activities across assigned systems, buildings and project areas.

* Develop commissioning strategies, programmes, schedules and testing requirements.

* Manage the complete commissioning lifecycle from planning through testing, validation and handover.

* Review commissioning procedures, method statements, test scripts and schedules.

* Monitor commissioning progress against project milestones.

* Ensure commissioning activities are completed safely, systematically and in accordance with project requirements.

#### Technical & Design Review

* Participate in design reviews and technical assessments.

* Review drawings, specifications, equipment schedules and system interfaces.

* Identify commissioning risks, design issues and technical gaps.

* Ensure design intent is properly reflected in site installation and commissioning.





* Provide technical input to resolve issues during construction and commissioning.

#### Testing & Validation

* Lead and witness contractor pre-commissioning, functional and performance testing.

* Coordinate **Integrated Systems Testing (IST)** and failure scenario testing.

* Review test results, commissioning documentation and system performance.

* Verify system performance under normal and abnormal operating conditions.

* Identify and drive resolution of commissioning deficiencies.

* Support client acceptance, operational readiness and final project handover.

#### Project & Stakeholder Management

* Coordinate with contractors, consultants, OEMs, specialist vendors and client representatives.

* Act as a senior point of contact for all commissioning-related matters.

* Lead commissioning meetings and technical discussions.

* Monitor contractor performance and commissioning deliverables.

* Drive technical issue resolution and root-cause analysis.

* Provide regular commissioning progress, risk and status reports.

#### Team Leadership

* Provide technical leadership and mentoring to commissioning engineers.

* Establish and maintain consistent commissioning standards and best practices.

* Support the development of the wider commissioning team.

* Promote a strong culture of safety, quality and technical excellence.

### Required Experience & Qualifications

* **5+ years of relevant experience** in commissioning, testing, engineering or project delivery.

* Degree, Diploma or equivalent qualification in **Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services Engineering** or a related discipline.





* Proven experience in **data centres, mission-critical infrastructure, industrial facilities or complex building projects**.

* Solid experience managing commissioning activities and project stakeholders.

* Strong understanding of commissioning methodology and project delivery.

* Hands-on experience with **functional testing, performance testing and Integrated Systems Testing (IST)**.

* Experience managing contractors, consultants, OEMs and specialist vendors.

* Strong technical understanding of mechanical or electrical building systems.

* Ability to review technical drawings, specifications and commissioning documentation.

* Strong project management, communication and problem-solving skills.

* Excellent written and spoken English.

### Highly Desirable

* Previous **hyperscale data centre** experience.

* Mission-critical / high-availability infrastructure experience.

* **CxA / ICA / GC commissioning** experience.

* Knowledge of **Cx0–Cx5 commissioning methodology**.

* Strong experience in **Integrated Systems Testing (IST)** and failure scenario testing.

* International project experience.

* Experience working with international clients, consultants and contractors.

* Experience delivering large-scale data centre campuses or multiple data centre buildings.

Pay: Up to ₹1,200,000.00 per month
