Position: Operations Head – Business Migration Services

Location: Ahmedabad

Reporting to: VP – Operations & Compliance

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership

- Lead and develop the operations team (Managers/Executives) handling visa and immigration case processing across all supported countries.

- Foster a collaborative, performance-driven environment and provide ongoing training, mentoring, and process guidance.

- Set team targets, monitor performance, and ensure timely and accurate case delivery.

Visa & Immigration Case Management

- Oversee the end-to-end handling of immigration and visa cases, including documentation review, case preparation, petition preparation, submission, follow-ups, and status tracking.

- Ensure cases are processed accurately and within defined timelines.

- Oversee complex business, investment, employment, and other immigration matters across multiple jurisdictions.

- Ensure appropriate coordination between clients, legal teams, immigration professionals, embassies, consulates, and internal departments.

Compliance & Quality

- Ensure all immigration operations comply with applicable immigration laws, regulations, government requirements, and company policies.

- Establish rigorous documentation and quality-control standards to minimize errors and improve case outcomes.

- Conduct regular case audits and implement corrective actions where required.

- Stay updated on changes in immigration regulations, visa policies, and procedural requirements.

Process Improvement

- Analyze existing immigration and visa workflows and identify bottlenecks and operational gaps.

- Design and implement standardized processes, checklists, SOPs, digital tools, and quality-control mechanisms.

- Improve processing efficiency, turnaround time, accuracy, and overall client experience.

Client & Stakeholder Coordination

- Act as a senior point of contact for key clients and handle complex case-related escalations.

- Provide case status updates and ensure timely resolution of operational issues.

- Coordinate effectively with Sales, Legal, Finance, Compliance, and other internal departments.





Reporting & Metrics

- Develop and monitor key operational metrics, including:

- Processing turnaround time

- Approval/refusal rates

- Case volumes

- Team productivity

- Documentation accuracy

- Client satisfaction

- Pending and escalated cases

- Prepare regular operational reports for senior management and recommend corrective actions.

Budget & Resource Planning

- Plan manpower and resource allocation based on business volumes and service-delivery requirements.

- Identify training and hiring requirements for the operations function.

- Support operational budgeting and ensure efficient utilization of resources.

Policy & Business Input

- Contribute to company policy and strategic discussions relating to immigration and business migration services.

- Provide operational inputs for the launch of new visa categories, countries, and immigration programs.

- Support management in evaluating operational feasibility, compliance requirements, and resource needs for new services.

Required Qualifications

Education

- Any Graduate.

- Relevant immigration, visa, compliance, or legal certifications will be an advantage.

- Certified Immigration Consultant/Attorney or equivalent professional qualification is highly desirable.

Mandatory Experience

- 8–12+ years of proven professional experience in immigration, visa operations, or immigration case management is mandatory.

- Candidates without substantial hands-on immigration/visa industry experience will not be considered.

- Proven experience managing immigration operations, case processing teams, and high-volume visa/immigration portfolios.

- Prior experience leading a team of 5+ direct reports is required.

- Strong project management, operational management,



and stakeholder-management experience.

Preferred Immigration Experience

Candidates with hands-on experience across multiple visa categories and immigration processes will be strongly preferred, including:

- US L-1A / L-1B

- US H-1B

- US F-1 / Student Visa

- US B1/B2 and other non-immigrant visa categories

- Employment-based and business immigration

- Investor and business migration programs

- Australia business, innovation, investor, and skilled migration programs

- New Zealand business and investor migration programs

- UAE Golden Visa and other UAE residency programs

- Other relevant work, business, investment, student, and residency visa programs

Technical & Process Knowledge

- Deep understanding of end-to-end immigration and visa processes, including:

- Client assessment and eligibility evaluation

- Documentation and compliance checks

- Case preparation

- Petition/application preparation

- Filing and submission procedures

- Government/immigration authority correspondence

- Embassy/consular processes

- Interview and appointment processes

- Case follow-ups and status tracking

- Approval, refusal, RFE/request-for-information, and escalation handling

- Post-approval and pre-departure processes where applicable

- Solid understanding of immigration documentation, compliance standards, government filing procedures, and visa processing workflows.

- Ability to interpret and implement changes in immigration laws, policies, and procedural guidelines.

- Experience developing SOPs, checklists, quality-control frameworks, and operational processes for immigration/visa teams.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will be a senior immigration operations professional with extensive hands-on experience in visa and immigration case processing, strong knowledge of multiple visa categories, proven team leadership capabilities, and the ability to build scalable, compliant, and efficient immigration operations.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹90,000.00 per month
