Position: Purchase Executive

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Purchase Executive to manage day-to-day procurement activities, vendor coordination, quotation comparison, purchase orders, and timely delivery of materials.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle day-to-day purchase and procurement activities.
- Source and evaluate new vendors and suppliers.
- Obtain quotations, compare prices, quality, and delivery timelines.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules with vendors.
- Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (POs).
- Follow up with vendors for timely delivery of materials.
- Coordinate with Stores, Accounts, Production, and other departments.
- Verify purchase invoices, quantities, rates, and related documents.
- Maintain proper records of POs, invoices, GRNs, quotations, and vendor details.
- Monitor pending orders and ensure timely closure.




- Develop and maintain good relationships with existing and new vendors.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
- Prepare purchase reports and MIS as required.

Required Skills

- Minimum 3 years of experience in Purchase/Procurement.
- Good knowledge of vendor management and negotiation.
- Strong knowledge of MS Excel and purchase documentation.
- Knowledge of PO, PI, GRN, invoices, GST and e-way bills.
- Experience with ERP/Tally/SAP will be an added advantage.
- Good communication and follow-up skills.
- Robust analytical and organizational abilities.
- Experience in a manufacturing/industrial company will be preferred.

Qualification

Graduate / Diploma in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a relevant field.

Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹28,000 per month, depending on experience and skills.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
