Sense International India (Sense India), established in 1997, is the only national-level organisation dedicated to supporting the needs of children and adults with deafblindness and multiple disabilities across India. Working through a network of partner organisations in 25+ states, we provide education, rehabilitation, livelihood support, and capacity building, impacting the lives of over 84,000 people.

Our Capacity Building vertical plays a vital role in training professionals, educators, caregivers, and partner NGO staff to deliver quality, inclusive services for persons with deafblindness and multiple disabilities.

Role Overview

We are looking for a creative and motivated Graphic Design Intern to support the Capacity Building vertical at our Ahmedabad Head Office.

The intern will create visually engaging, accessible, and brand-consistent design materials for training modules, learning resources, awareness campaigns, reports, and communication materials that advance our mission of inclusion.

Key Responsibilities

- Design high-quality graphics, layouts, and visual materials for capacity building training modules, manuals, presentations, and workshops
- Create social media creatives, posters, flyers, banners, and digital assets for programme communication and awareness
- Develop templates, icons, illustrations, and infographics that are clear, inclusive, and easy to understand
- Design certificates, event materials, and internal documents while strictly following Sense India branding guidelines




- Collaborate with the Capacity Building team and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver designs on time
- Ensure designs are sensitive to disability inclusion and suitable for diverse audiences
- Assist with basic photo editing, layout work, and revisions as needed

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, Multimedia, or a related field
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and/or Canva / Figma
- Strong understanding of design principles: typography, colour theory, layout, and composition
- Ability to create clean, professional, and impactful designs
- Good communication skills and willingness to take feedback
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a team-oriented workplace
- Genuine interest in the development/NGO sector, disability inclusion, or social impact work (highly desirable)
- Own laptop with required design software preferred

Pay: Up to ₹1,000.00 per month
