Job Description– Mechanical Engineer’s Trainee (Graduate / Diploma)

Job Responsibilities:

· Coordinate with shop floor teams for smooth operations.

· Support process improvement and productivity enhancement initiatives.

· Maintain production reports and documentation.

· Assist in preparation of technical drawings and product designs.

· Work on AutoCAD/SolidWorks drawings and modifications.

· Coordinate with production teams for design feasibility.

· Support R&D; and product development activities.

· Maintain design records and BOM documentation.

· Assist in vendor development and supplier coordination.

· Support purchase order processing and material follow-ups.

· Coordinate with stores and production teams for material requirements.

· Compare quotations and prepare procurement reports.

· Assist in production planning and execution under the guidance of senior engineers.

· Monitor and maintain production equipment to ensure optimal performance.

· Support process improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste.





· Coordinate with cross-functional teams for smooth workflow and timely completion of production targets.

· Maintain documentation related to production processes, quality checks, and inventory management.

· Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards during all production activities.

· Identify potential issues in the production line and propose solutions.

· Participate in training sessions to gain hands-on experience with manufacturing techniques and tools.

Required Skills:

· Basic knowledge of procurement and supply chain process

· Valuable communication and negotiation skills

· Knowledge of MS Excel and basic ERP handling

· Strong follow-up and coordination abilities

· Problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn

· Good analytical and documentation skills
