Job Description – Multicuisine Cook

Position: Multicuisine Cook
Department: Kitchen
Reports To: Head Chef / Executive Chef

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Multicuisine Cook who can prepare a variety of Indian, Chinese, Continental, and other cuisines while maintaining high standards of taste, hygiene, presentation, and food safety.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook dishes according to standard recipes and quality requirements.
- Handle Indian, Chinese, Continental, and other multicuisine preparations.
- Perform food preparation, cutting, marinating, cooking, and plating.
- Maintain consistency in taste, portion size, and presentation.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of food ingredients.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen and cooking equipment.
- Monitor stock levels and inform the chef about ingredient requirements.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety standards.
- Minimize food wastage and maintain proper portion control.




- Assist the kitchen team during busy service periods.
- Maintain proper coordination with the Head Chef and other kitchen staff.

Requirements

- Minimum 2–5 years of experience as a Multicuisine Cook or similar role.
- Good knowledge of Indian, Chinese, and Continental cuisines.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a kitchen team.
- Knowledge of food hygiene and safety practices.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
