Job Description – EV Assembly Technician / Engineer

Industry: Electric Commercial Vehicle Manufacturing
Department: Production / Vehicle Assembly

Qualification

- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Automobile, Electrical, EEE, ECE, Mechatronics or EV Technology.
- Freshers and candidates with 0–3 years of experience in automotive/EV manufacturing can apply.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform assembly and fitment of electric commercial vehicle components as per SOP and work instructions.
- Assemble mechanical, electrical and EV components including battery, motor, controller, wiring harness, chargers and other vehicle parts.
- Use hand tools, power tools and torque tools for assembly operations.
- Perform wiring, connector fitting, cable routing and basic electrical checks.
- Conduct in-process quality inspection and rectify assembly defects.




- Achieve daily production targets while maintaining quality, safety and productivity.
- Follow 5S, PPE, EV/HV safety procedures and standard work practices.

Required Skills

- Basic knowledge of automobile/EV components and assembly processes.
- Ability to use hand tools and torque tools.
- Ability to read basic drawings and work instructions.
- Good attention to detail and teamwork.
- Willingness to work in shifts.
