Role Overview

We are looking for a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 2–3 years of relevant experience in an advisory firm. The ideal candidate should have strong exposure to SME clients, statutory/internal audits, accounting and financial reporting, along with the ability to independently manage client assignments and prepare financial documentation.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and handle a portfolio of SME clients, understanding their accounting, compliance, audit, and advisory requirements.
- Plan and execute internal audits and client audits, including preparation of audit plans, working papers, documentation, and reports.
- Coordinate with clients to obtain financial information, supporting documents, and explanations required for audit and advisory assignments.
- Review accounting records and financial statements for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulations.
- Prepare and draft financial statements, audit reports, management reports, and other financial documents for companies.
- Assist clients with preparation and review of financial information, including balance sheets, profit & loss statements, cash-flow statements, and related schedules.
- Identify accounting, financial, and internal-control issues and provide practical recommendations to clients.
- Assist in developing and reviewing internal controls, processes, and accounting systems for SME clients.
- Ensure timely completion of assignments while maintaining quality and professional standards.
- Communicate effectively with clients and coordinate with internal team members to resolve accounting and audit-related matters.




- Support senior management/partners in providing business, financial, and accounting advisory services to clients.
- Stay updated on changes in applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, corporate laws, and audit requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification from ICAI.
- 2–3 years of post-qualification experience, preferably with a CA/advisory firm.
- Hands-on experience in SME client management and client-facing assignments.
- Good understanding of internal audit, statutory audit, financial reporting, and accounting principles.
- Experience in drafting and reviewing financial statements and other corporate financial documents.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and accounting/ERP software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to independently manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
- Strong client-management and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will be someone who can independently handle SME clients, manage audit assignments from planning through completion, review financial records, identify financial/control issues, and prepare high-quality financial documentation with minimal supervision.
