About the Role

Sreewari Engineers is looking for a skilled and motivated HVAC Design Engineer to design, develop and support HVAC solutions for commercial, industrial and other project requirements. The candidate will be responsible for HVAC system design, load calculations, equipment selection, ducting and piping design, BOQ preparation, technical documentation and coordination with project, sales and execution teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Design HVAC systems based on project requirements and client specifications.
- Perform cooling load and heat load calculations.
- Prepare HVAC system concepts and detailed engineering designs.
- Select and size equipment such as:
- Chillers
- VRF/VRV systems
- DX systems
- AHUs
- FCUs
- Ventilation fans
- Exhaust systems
- Pumps and associated equipment
- Design and prepare layouts for:
- Ducting systems
- Chilled water piping
- Refrigerant piping
- Ventilation and exhaust systems
- Prepare duct sizing, pipe sizing and pressure drop calculations.
- Develop HVAC drawings using AutoCAD and other relevant design software.
- Prepare BOQ, BOM and material specifications.
- Prepare technical submittals, design calculations and project documentation.
- Coordinate with architects, MEP consultants, clients and internal project teams.
- Review project drawings and identify design clashes or technical issues.
- Provide technical support to the sales, estimation, procurement and project execution teams.
- Support site engineers during installation, testing and commissioning when required.
- Ensure designs comply with applicable HVAC standards, codes and project specifications.
- Participate in technical discussions and client/consultant meetings.

Required Qualifications





- B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- Specialization or experience in HVAC / MEP Design preferred.

Experience

- 2–5 years of experience in HVAC design, MEP design or HVAC project engineering.
- Candidates with solid hands-on knowledge and relevant project exposure may also be considered.

Required Technical Skills

- HVAC cooling load calculations.
- Knowledge of DX, VRF/VRV and chilled water systems.
- AHU, FCU, ventilation and exhaust system selection.
- Duct design and duct sizing.
- Chilled water and refrigerant piping design.
- Pump and fan selection basics.
- BOQ and material estimation.
- AutoCAD proficiency.
- Ability to read and understand architectural and MEP drawings.
- Knowledge of HVAC installation, testing and commissioning will be an added advantage.

Preferred Skills

- Knowledge of HAP / Carrier software or equivalent HVAC load calculation software.
- Revit MEP knowledge will be an added advantage.
- Good understanding of ASHRAE and other applicable HVAC standards.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good communication and coordination abilities.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for a candidate who can take ownership of the HVAC design process—from understanding the client's requirement and preparing calculations to equipment selection, drawings, BOQ and supporting the execution team.

Preferred Candidate Profile: A practical HVAC engineer with strong design knowledge and the ability to coordinate between design, estimation, procurement and project execution.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
