Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Python Developer with 3+ years of hands-on skilled experience in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining scalable and reliable software applications.

The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Python, backend development, REST APIs, web frameworks, databases, and third-party integrations. The candidate should be comfortable troubleshooting complex application issues, optimizing application performance, and working collaboratively in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend applications using Python.
- Develop robust and secure RESTful APIs and backend services.
- Build applications using Python frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
- Write clean, reusable, maintainable, and well-documented Python code.
- Design and integrate relational and NoSQL databases.
- Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL queries and database operations.
- Integrate third-party APIs, external services, and enterprise systems.
- Debug application issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement effective fixes.
- Develop and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure application quality.
- Participate in code reviews and follow software engineering best practices.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, product managers, architects, and other stakeholders.
- Identify and resolve performance, scalability, reliability,



and production issues.
- Design backend components with scalability, security, maintainability, and performance in mind.
- Use Git and version-control practices for source-code management.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Maintain technical documentation for applications, APIs, integrations, and development processes.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of development, testing, deployment, and engineering practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 3+ years of professional experience in Python development.
- Strong hands-on programming experience with Python.
- Experience developing backend applications using Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, HTTP protocols, API design, and backend development.
- Good knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
- Experience working with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar technologies.
- Knowledge of NoSQL databases such as MongoDB is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures, and software design principles.
- Experience with Git and version-control systems.
- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.




- Understanding of unit testing, integration testing, and software quality practices.
- Ability to write clean, reusable, and maintainable code.
- Good understanding of application performance and scalability.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively in an on-site team environment.

Good to Have

- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of Celery, Redis, RabbitMQ, or similar asynchronous processing technologies.
- Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB.
- Understanding of microservices architecture.
- Experience with background jobs, task queues, and asynchronous processing.
- Knowledge of API authentication and authorization mechanisms such as JWT or OAuth2.
- Experience with cloud-native application development.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience working with monitoring, logging, and application performance tools.
