About the Role

We are looking for a creative and hands-on Social Media Executive who understands Social Media Marketing (SMM) and can take ownership of day-to-day social media activities.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable with content creation, Instagram Reels, trend research, shooting videos, basic video editing, and social media management. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being involved in both the strategy and execution of social media content.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and grow the company's social media presence across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and YouTube.
- Plan and execute monthly/weekly social media content calendars.
- Create engaging and creative content including Reels, short-form videos, posts, carousels, stories and other social media creatives.
- Shoot Reels and social media videos for the company's social media platforms.
- Participate in and coordinate product, office, employee and promotional content shoots.
- Research current Instagram trends, viral Reels, trending audio, hashtags and content formats and convert them into relevant content ideas.
- Develop creative concepts, scripts, captions and content ideas for Reels and social media campaigns.
- Handle basic video editing and Reel editing using tools such as CapCut, Canva, VN, Adobe Premiere Pro or similar software.
- Write engaging captions and maintain consistency in the brand's tone and communication.
- Schedule and publish content regularly across social media platforms.
- Monitor comments, messages and audience engagement and respond appropriately.
- Track social media performance including reach, impressions, engagement, followers and content performance.
- Analyse insights and use data to improve future content and engagement.
- Keep up to date with social media algorithms,



trends and platform updates.
- Monitor competitor activities and identify new content opportunities.
- Coordinate with the design, marketing and other internal teams for campaigns and content requirements.
- Support influencer collaborations and other social media marketing activities when required.

Required Skills

- 1–2 years of hands-on experience in Social Media Marketing / Social Media Management.
- Strong understanding of Instagram and Reels.
- Positive knowledge of SMM strategies, content planning and audience engagement.
- Experience in Reel creation and video shooting.
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of video editing.
- Good knowledge of tools such as Canva, CapCut, VN, Adobe Premiere Pro or similar tools.
- Strong creative thinking and ability to generate fresh content ideas.
- Good understanding of trends, hashtags, captions and social media algorithms.
- Basic understanding of social media analytics and performance metrics.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple content requirements.

What We Are Looking For

- Someone who is creative, proactive and comfortable in front of/behind the camera.
- Someone who doesn't just schedule posts but can ideate, shoot, edit and publish content.
- A candidate who actively follows Instagram trends and understands what makes content engaging.
- A strong portfolio of Reels/social media work will be highly preferred.
- Candidates with experience handling brand pages or company social media accounts will be preferred.

Location Requirement

This is an on-site position based in Indore. Only Indore-based candidates or candidates willing to relocate to Indore are eligible to apply.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Digital Marketing, Media Studies or a related field is preferred but not mandatory if the candidate has relevant hands-on experience and a strong portfolio.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
