QC Assistant – Foundry Industry

Location: Mettupalayam, Coimbatore.
Experience: 0–2 Years
Qualification: ITI / Diploma – Mechanical / Metallurgy / Production

Job Responsibilities

- Inspect castings for quality and defects.
- Check dimensions using Vernier Caliper, Micrometer and other measuring instruments.
- Identify casting defects like cracks, blow holes, shrinkage and sand inclusion.
- Conduct in-process and final inspection.
- Maintain inspection and rejection records.
- Support QC Engineer in quality-related activities.
- Coordinate with production team to resolve quality issues.
- Follow safety, 5S and quality procedures.
- Willing to work in rotational shifts.

Required Skills

- Basic knowledge of foundry processes




- Basic knowledge of quality inspection
- Knowledge of measuring instruments
- Ability to identify casting defects
- Basic MS Excel and documentation
- skills Good observation skills Attention to detail
- Ability to work in shifts Teamwork and communication skills
- Willingness to work in a shop-floor workplace

Skills: Basic knowledge of foundry processes, quality inspection, measuring instruments and MS Excel.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
