About the Role

We are looking for a WordPress Developer who can build, customize, maintain and optimize high-quality WordPress websites and landing pages for Admonk and its clients.

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of WordPress, Elementor, PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, responsive design and website performance.

You will work closely with the digital marketing team to ensure that websites are not only visually appealing but also SEO-friendly, conversion-focused and technically optimized.

Key Responsibilities1. WordPress Development

- Develop and maintain WordPress websites.
- Build responsive websites and landing pages.
- Customize WordPress themes and templates.
- Work with Elementor and other popular WordPress page builders.
- Create reusable sections and website components.
- Implement custom functionality based on project requirements.

2. Website Customization

- Customize existing WordPress themes.
- Modify HTML, CSS, PHP and JavaScript where required.
- Develop custom layouts and page sections.
- Integrate third-party plugins and APIs.
- Troubleshoot plugin and theme conflicts.
- Ensure websites work correctly across desktop, tablet and mobile devices.

3. Landing Pages





Build conversion-focused landing pages for:

- Google Ads campaigns
- Lead generation
- Product/service promotions
- Events and workshops
- Admonk Academy
- E-commerce campaigns

Work with the marketing team to convert campaign requirements into effective landing pages.

4. Website Performance

- Improve website loading speed.
- Optimize images and website assets.
- Identify and resolve technical performance issues.
- Implement caching and optimization solutions.
- Monitor Core Web Vitals.
- Follow basic technical SEO best practices.

5. SEO-Friendly Development

Work closely with the SEO team to ensure websites have:

- Clean URL structures
- Proper heading hierarchy
- Schema implementation where required
- SEO-friendly page structures
- Optimized internal linking
- Mobile responsiveness
- Proper sitemap and robots.txt configuration
- Search-engine-friendly technical architecture

6. E-commerce Development

- Work with WooCommerce websites.
- Create and customize product pages.
- Configure product attributes and variations.
- Integrate payment and shipping solutions.
- Troubleshoot WooCommerce issues.
- Support Google Merchant Center/Product Feed requirements.

Experience with Shopify or Odoo will be an added advantage.

Website Maintenance

- Regularly update WordPress, themes and plugins.
- Monitor website health.
- Fix bugs and broken functionality.
- Take and manage backups.
- Resolve hosting-related issues.
- Implement security and performance improvements.

Implement and troubleshoot integrations such as:

- Google Analytics 4
