Job Title: MT / Assistant Manager – Internal Audit & Risk Advisory

Location: Noida

Department: Internal Audit / Risk & Compliance

Reporting To: Head – Internal Audit / Risk & Compliance

Role Objective

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical professional to support the Internal Audit, Risk Advisory, Internal Financial Controls, Compliance, and Process Audit functions. The ideal candidate should have practical exposure to Risk Control, compliance, process audits, SOP development, statutory compliance reviews, and audit reporting.

1. Internal Audit & Process Audits

· Conduct end-to-end internal audits covering business, operational, finance, and support functions.

· Perform process walkthroughs to understand business processes, risks, and existing controls.

· Identify process gaps, control weaknesses, operational inefficiencies, and potential risks.

· Review Finance & Accounts, Revenue, Procurement, Payroll, Treasury, Inventory, Fixed Assets, and other business processes.

· Prepare audit observations, identify root causes, and recommend practical corrective actions.

· Support preparation of detailed internal audit reports for management review.

2. Internal Financial Controls / ICFR

· Prepare and maintain Risk Control Matrices (RCMs) for key business and financial processes.

· Identify process risks, control objectives, key controls, and relevant audit assertions.

· Evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls.

· Perform control testing and maintain appropriate audit documentation.

· Identify control exceptions and coordinate with process owners for remediation.

· Track implementation of agreed corrective and preventive actions.

3. SOX / JSOX Compliance





· Assist in documentation and testing of financial and operational controls.

· Review control evidence and assess compliance with defined control requirements.

· Identify control deficiencies and assist in preparing remediation plans.

· Maintain audit trails and supporting documentation for management and audit requirements.

4. Compliance & Operational Audits

· Conduct compliance reviews to assess adherence to applicable regulations, internal policies, and SOPs.

· Perform branch and operational audits, particularly across Insurance/NBFC/BFSI operations.

· Review adherence to internal processes, statutory requirements, and control frameworks.

· Prepare detailed audit observations and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.

5. SOP & Process Documentation

· Develop, review, and update SOPs for Finance, HR, Capex, Inventory, Operations, and other functions.

· Identify opportunities for process standardization and strengthening of internal controls.

· Ensure documented processes are aligned with actual business practices.

· Recommend process improvements to reduce errors and operational risks.

6. Vendor & Third-Party Audits

· Conduct vendor audits covering SLA adherence, contractual compliance, and operational effectiveness.

· Review vendor documentation and supporting records.

· Identify gaps in vendor controls and recommend corrective actions.

· Assist in evaluating third-party risks and compliance requirements.

7. MIS, Documentation & Reporting

· Prepare audit working papers, checklists, RCMs, control testing documents, and audit reports.

· Maintain proper documentation of audit evidence and observations.

· Prepare management summaries highlighting key risks, control gaps, and recommendations.

· Track audit observations and closure status.





· Use MS Excel and ERP systems for data analysis, validation, and audit documentation.

Key Skills Required

· Internal Audit & Process Audit; Risk-Based Auditing; Risk Control Matrix (RCM).

· Internal Financial Controls;

· Process Walkthroughs; Compliance Audit; SOP Development & Process Documentation.

· Audit Reporting; Risk Identification & Mitigation; Vendor Audit.

· Financial & Operational Controls; MS Excel & ERP Systems.

· Strong analytical, documentation, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.

Educational Qualification

· B.Com / M.Com / MBA Finance or equivalent qualification may also be considered based on relevant experience.

· Candidates with experience in Internal Audit, Risk Advisory, ICFR, SOX/JSOX, Compliance, or Business Process Audit will be preferred.

Preferred Candidate Profile

· Strong understanding of accounting and auditing principles.

· Good analytical and problem-solving ability with strong attention to detail and accuracy.

· Ability to independently conduct process walkthroughs and identify control gaps.

· Good written and verbal communication skills.

· Ability to interact with cross-functional stakeholders and manage multiple audits within timelines.

· Proficiency in MS Excel and working with ERP/data systems.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

· Timely completion of assigned audits.

· Quality and accuracy of audit observations.

· Effectiveness of control testing and risk identification.

· Timely preparation of RCMs and audit documentation.

· Closure rate of audit observations.

· Quality of process improvement recommendations.

· Compliance with audit methodology and documentation standards.

· Reduction in recurring process/control deficiencies.

Role Outcome

The role will be responsible for strengthening the organization's internal control environment, process efficiency, compliance framework, and risk management practices through effective internal audits, control testing, process reviews, and actionable recommendations.

Job Type: Full time

Pay: ₹350,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
