Job Description:
Responsibilities
- Participate in client engagements by providing corporate, partnership and individual tax services; devise, plan and execute tax strategies and research potential tax issues
- Prepare and/or review returns for 990, 5500, corporate, partnership, or individuals, including federal, foreign, state and local tax return, estimated payments and extensions
- Support Tax Staff in delivering including coaching and reviewing their work
- Review extensions and quarterly estimates Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and contribute towards implementing them
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or related field required.
- CPA (US) or CA (ICAI) preferred. Candidates not currently certified should meet eligibility requirements to pursue certification upon hire.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in U.S. taxation.
- Experience in a public accounting firm with proficiency in corporate (1120) and partnership (1065) tax returns.
- At least 2 years of tax preparation experience and 1 year of tax return review experience.
- Robust client service skills with experience managing multiple engagements and meeting deadlines.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to work independently and in a team.
- Highly motivated with initiative for professional growth, and flexibility to work overtime and travel as needed.
