Key Responsibilities
- Erection & Installation
- Supervise rigging, lifting, placement, alignment, leveling, and anchoring of mounded bullet vessels.
- Ensure proper installation of vessels on saddles/foundations as per approved drawings and procedures.
- Welding & Quality Control
- Monitor welding activities and ensure compliance with approved WPS/PQR.
- Verify welder qualifications, PWHT, and NDE activities including RT, UT, MT, and PT.
- Ensure welding quality and documentation meet project requirements.
- Code & Standard Compliance
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards:
- ASME BPVC Section VIII
- ASME Section IX
- API 2510
- API 620
- PD 5500
- Mounding Interface
- Coordinate vessel mounding activities with civil teams.
- Supervise sand/earthwork, leak detection systems, waterproofing, drainage, and cathodic protection interfaces.
- Contractor Management
- Manage mechanical contractors, subcontractors, riggers, welders, and inspection agencies.
- Monitor manpower, productivity, work quality, and construction progress.
- Ensure contractors follow approved method statements and safety procedures.
- Testing & Inspection
- Lead hydrostatic testing and approved pneumatic testing activities.
- Prepare and review test packs.
- Ensure all safety controls, inspections, approvals, and documentation are completed before testing.
- Pre-Commissioning & Mechanical Completion
- Manage mechanical completion activities.
- Coordinate punch-list identification and clearance.
- Conduct pre-commissioning checks and ensure timely system handover.
- HSE Compliance
- Ensure strict compliance with site HSE requirements.
- Monitor PTW, lifting operations, hot work, confined-space entry, pressure testing, and other critical activities.
- Ensure safe execution of all vessel erection and testing activities.
- Multidisciplinary Coordination
- Coordinate with Civil, Piping, QA/QC, HSE, Engineering, Commissioning, Client, and Consultant teams.
- Resolve site technical and execution-related issues in coordination with relevant stakeholders.
- Progress Reporting
- Monitor and report daily/weekly construction progress.
- Track quality issues, technical queries, punch points, and completion milestones.
- Maintain proper construction and inspection records.
Qualifications & Experience
- B.E./B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering.
- 10–12+ years of experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, LPG/LNG, or Energy projects.
- Minimum 3–5+ years of site experience in static storage vessels, pressure vessels, or mounded bullet erection.
- Robust hands-on experience in:
- Heavy lifting
- Vessel alignment & leveling
- Welding
- NDE/Inspection
- PWHT
- Hydrotesting
- Mechanical completion
- Strong knowledge of ASME Section VIII, ASME Section IX, API 2510, and API 620.
- Proven experience in site leadership, contractor management, problem-solving, and multidisciplinary coordination.
- Knowledge of PESO/CCOE and applicable Indian statutory requirements will be an added advantage.

Pay: ₹19,771.02 - ₹50,000.00 per month
