Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant with strong and in-depth knowledge of accounting and financial operations. The candidate should be capable of independently handling day-to-day accounting activities, statutory compliances, taxation, financial reporting, and other complete accounting functions of the company.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle complete accounting operations from day-to-day transactions to finalization of accounts.
- Maintain accurate books of accounts, ledgers, journals, and vouchers.
- Handle GST compliance, including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, reconciliation, input tax credit verification, and related GST activities.
- Handle TDS compliance, including TDS calculation, deduction, payment, returns filing, and reconciliation.
- Handle Income Tax-related activities, including ITR filing, tax computations, and coordination with auditors/consultants.
- Prepare and maintain Profit & Loss Account, Balance Sheet, Trial Balance, and other financial statements.
- Perform regular Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS) and resolve discrepancies.
- Monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable.
- Handle customer and supplier ledger reconciliation.
- Verify purchase invoices, sales invoices, expenses, debit notes, credit notes, and other accounting documents.
- Monitor outstanding payments and collections.
- Manage cash and bank transactions and maintain proper supporting documents.
- Ensure timely payment of statutory dues and other financial obligations.
- Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, banks, suppliers, customers, and internal departments.
- Assist in audit, assessment, and statutory compliance requirements.




- Prepare monthly and periodic financial reports for management.
- Analyse expenses, income, receivables, payables, and other financial data.
- Ensure proper accounting controls and compliance with company policies.
- Identify accounting discrepancies and take corrective action.
- Maintain proper documentation and records for all accounting and statutory activities.
- Handle any other accounting and finance-related work assigned by management.

Required Skills & Knowledge

- Strong and in-depth knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Good knowledge of GST, TDS, and Income Tax compliance.
- Strong knowledge of finalization of accounts.
- Excellent knowledge of P&L;, Balance Sheet, Trial Balance, and BRS.
- Good knowledge of statutory compliance and taxation.
- Solid reconciliation and analytical skills.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software/ERP.
- Ability to independently manage the complete accounts function.
- Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Qualification

- CA Inter / equivalent qualification preferred.
- 5–10 years of relevant experience in Accounts & Finance, preferably in a manufacturing or garment industry.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate should be a well-experienced and responsible accounts professional who can independently handle the company's complete accounting activities, statutory filings, taxation, reconciliations, financial reporting, and day-to-day accounts operations with minimum supervision.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
