Project: 2000 MLD Water Treatment Plant (WTP)

Location: Bhandup, Mumbai

Experience: 8 Years

Maximum Budget: 90,000 / Month

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Planning Engineer to join our 2000 MLD Water Treatment Plant project at Bhandup, Mumbai. The ideal candidate should have solid experience in project planning, scheduling, progress monitoring, project controls, and reporting, preferably from Water Treatment Plant or other water infrastructure projects. Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain detailed project schedules in Microsoft Project (MSP) up to Level 4 (L4).

Prepare project schedules, WBS, activity sequencing, resource allocation, and baseline programmes.

Monitor project progress against approved schedules and identify delays, slippages, and critical activities.

Monitor and analyze the critical path and overall schedule performance.

Prepare and update weekly and monthly project progress reports and MIS.

Track actual progress against planned progress and prepare progress analysis and variance reports.

Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Execution, Billing, QA/QC, and Commercial teams for planning and progress-related requirements.





Identify potential delays and prepare suitable recovery plans and catch-up schedules. Support project teams in achieving planned milestones and timely project completion. Prepare look-ahead schedules and monitor short-term execution targets.

Participate in project review meetings with clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders.

Maintain proper planning documentation, schedules, progress records, and project control reports.

Provide planning inputs for management review and support effective project monitoring and decision-making.

Required Qualification

Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering.

Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in project planning and scheduling.

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Project (MSP) with hands-on experience in L4 planning. Strong knowledge of WBS, CPM, project scheduling, baseline programmes, critical path analysis, and project controls.

Good knowledge of MS Excel and project planning/reporting documentation.

Candidates must have experience working on Water / WTP / STP / Water Infrastructure / Pipeline / Civil Infrastructure projects.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹90,000.00 per month
