Job Purpose

Ensure effective identification and monitoring of alerts, scenarios, and suspicious activities/transactions. Review, report, and track cases for proper closure.

Key Responsibilities

Alert Monitoring

Review alerts generated by AML systems.

Analyze transactions against customer profiles.

Conduct enhanced due diligence for suspicious cases.

Liaise with teams for clarifications on alerts.

Maintain records for future reference.

STR Reporting

Review alerts converted to cases and frame Grounds of Suspicion.

Liaise with teams to complete STR reporting.

Report suspicious transactions to FIU-IND.

Update STR reporting in AML systems.

Regulatory Requirements and Reporting

Stay updated on AML regulatory guidelines.

Coordinate timely data receipt for regulatory reporting.

Ensure customer risk profiling aligns with policies.

Respond to regulator/LEA queries with relevant information.

Adverse Media Scanning

Monitor media for criminal or money laundering activities.

Conduct media searches for suspicious cases.

Quality and Process Improvement

Identify and address process gaps.

Update monitoring processes for assigned scenarios.

Suggest and implement scenario parameter improvements.

Other Tasks

Maintain and monitor task trackers.

Focus on quality-driven team culture.





Perform tasks assigned by Team Leader/Unit Head.

Education:

Graduation (minimum).

Certifications:

IIBF certification (optional).

Key Competencies

Banking product and process knowledge, analytical abilities, oral and written communication, attention to detail, teamwork.

Major Stakeholders

Branch Banking, Operations, Product Teams, BTG and Technology Teams.
