- Washing and sanitizing dishes, cookware, and kitchen tools
- Handling garbage and waste disposal properly
- Supporting chefs and kitchen staff with basic cleaning/preparation tasks
- Following food-safety, hygiene, and workplace-safety standards
- Monitoring and replenishing cleaning supplies
- Assisting with receiving and storing kitchen supplies when required
- Keeping storage and back-of-house areas organized
