Given the critical nature of our infrastructure, we are strengthening our system security, monitoring, and access control frameworks to ensure high availability and protection against cyber threats.

Role Overview:

We are looking for a L2/L3 System Security & Infrastructure Engineer who can actively manage, monitor, and secure our cloud and on-premise infrastructure.

This is a cross-functional IT Infrastructure role. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in Windows/Linux environments, server hardening, cybersecurity, networking, hardware support, and overall IT operations. We are seeking a proactive problem solver with strong technical capabilities (8/10+ proficiency) who understands real-world security risks, can detect unusual system behavior, and handle incident responses effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

- Monitor, manage, and harden Windows and Linux servers (cloud & local).
- Ensure system security, access control, data protection, and vulnerability mitigation across all servers.
- Identify and mitigate risks related to RDP exposure, unauthorized access, and brute-force attacks.
- Configure and maintain secure remote access (VPN, IP restrictions, MFA where applicable).
- Monitor system logs, login activity, and unusual behavior across distributed systems.
- Implement and enforce security policies (USB restriction, file transfer control, user permissions).
- Take regular backups and ensure data recovery readiness and disaster recovery planning.
- Perform server hardening, OS patching, and software updates.
- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot desktop computers, laptops, printers, networking devices, and office IT hardware.
- Provide technical support for office IT infrastructure, including OS, networking, and end-user issues.
- Respond to and manage security incidents, breaches, or suspicious activity.
- Maintain documentation for security processes,



IT infrastructure, and system configurations.
- Perform other IT infrastructure, system administration, networking, hardware, and security-related responsibilities as assigned based on business requirements.

Required Qualifications & Technical Skills:

- Education: B.Tech / BCA/ B.Sc in Computer Science, IT, or related engineering field.
- Experience: 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in Cybersecurity / System Administration / IT Infrastructure.

Technical Competencies:

- Strong knowledge of Windows Server and Linux administration.
- Knowledge of SQL Server administration.
- Hands-on experience with RDP management, secure remote access, and associated security risks.
- Understanding of VPN setup (OpenVPN / secure remote access concepts).
- Hands-on experience with Active Directory and Group Policy Management (GPO).
- Understanding of network security tools, firewalls, ports, network troubleshooting, and monitoring.
- Experience with server logs, monitoring tools, and security alert systems.
- Good understanding of desktop/laptop hardware, peripherals, and office networking infrastructure.

Other Skills:

- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Good written and spoken English communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional workplace.

Work Expectations:

- Strictly In-Office: Daily commute to Ecospace Business Park, New Town, Kolkata (No remote option).
- Work Hours: Full-time standard day-shift role.
- Emergency Support: Must be available for short remote support outside regular hours during critical server/security issues (to coordinate with our USA team when necessary).
- Equipment: Must have access to a personal laptop/desktop with a reliable broadband connection for emergency remote access.
- Selection Process: Mandatory in-person written Technical Test at our New Town office prior to final interviews.
