Education:

Diploma in Mechanical / Tool & Die Making (GTTC / NTTF) OR BE /B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering with relevant industry experience

Experience: 5–6+ years in Quality / Quality Leadership in a reputed Toolroom, Precision Engineering, Mould or Die Manufacturing Industry

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and take overall responsibility for Toolroom QA & QC

- Implement, maintain and continuously improve ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 QMS

- Prepare, review and control APQP, PPAP, MSA, SPC, FMEA and other quality documentation

- Plan and lead internal, external and customer audits

- Manage customer complaints, RCA, 8D and CAPA activities

- Establish inspection, measurement and process-control systems across Toolroom

- Drive 5S, Kaizen, Six Sigma and continuous improvement initiatives

- Ensure effective utilization and calibration of CMM,



Profile Projector and precision measuring instruments

- Monitor quality performance, identify recurring issues and implement preventive actions

- Lead, mentor and develop Quality Inspectors and Quality Engineers

- Work closely with Design, Tool Manufacturing, Production and Project teams

Must Have Knowledge:

- ISO 9001 / IATF 16949

- APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, 7 QC Tools, CAPA, 8D

- CMM, Profile Projector precision measurement techniques

- GD&T;, dimensional inspection, engineering drawings – Added advantage

- Proven leadership, analytical and problem-solving abilities
