Job Description – Fashion Designer Faculty

About the Role: We are seeking a passionate and experienced Fashion Designer Faculty to train, mentor, and inspire aspiring fashion professionals. The ideal candidate should possess strong industry knowledge, hands-on design expertise, and the ability to deliver engaging classroom and practical training sessions.

Key Responsibilities
Training & Academic Delivery
● Conduct theory and practical classes in Fashion Design.
● Train students in garment construction, pattern making, draping, fashion illustration, and textile studies.
● Deliver industry-relevant curriculum and ensure effective learning outcomes.
● Guide students on design concepts, portfolio development, and creative projects.
● Conduct assessments, assignments, and practical evaluations. Student Development
● Mentor students and provide individual guidance on skill enhancement.
● Assist students in creating professional portfolios and final collections.
● Prepare students for internships, industry exposure, fashion shows, and career opportunities.
● Track student performance and provide regular feedback. Curriculum & Academic Planning
● Develop lesson plans and training materials.
● Stay updated with current fashion trends, technologies, and industry practices.
● Suggest improvements to training modules and curriculum. Industry Engagement
● Organize workshops, seminars, fashion events, and guest lectures.




● Build industry connections to enhance student learning and placement opportunities.
● Participate in fashion exhibitions, competitions, and institute events.
Required Skills
● Robust knowledge of Fashion Design principles and garment construction.
● Expertise in Pattern Making, Draping, Fashion Illustration, and Textiles.
● Proficiency in fashion design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CorelDRAW, or similar tools.
● Excellent communication, presentation, and mentoring skills.
● Creative mindset with a passion for teaching.
Qualifications
● Bachelor's or Master's Degree/Diploma in Fashion Design from a recognized institute.
● Relevant industry experience in Fashion Design, Apparel, Garment Manufacturing, Boutique Management, or Fashion Education. Preferred Candidate Profile
● Prior teaching or training experience in a Fashion Institute.
● Strong portfolio showcasing design projects and industry work.
● Experience mentoring students for portfolios, fashion shows, and placements.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
● Student satisfaction and learning outcomes.
● Batch performance and completion rates.
● Student portfolio quality and project execution.
● Participation in institute events and academic initiatives.
● Student placement and career readiness support.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
