Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and highly capable Civil Supervisor to oversee day-to-day construction activities and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the required quality standards. The successful candidate will supervise site personnel, coordinate subcontractors, monitor progress, and ensure work is carried out in accordance with drawings, specifications, and project schedules.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and coordinate daily civil construction activities on site.
- Manage and monitor site workers, subcontractors, and construction crews.
- Ensure work is completed according to approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
- Read and interpret civil, structural, and engineering drawings.
- Monitor project progress and ensure work is completed within agreed schedules.
- Coordinate with engineers, project managers, subcontractors, and other site personnel.
- Inspect completed and ongoing work to ensure quality standards are maintained.
- Ensure correct use of construction materials, tools, and equipment.
- Monitor site activities including excavation, foundations, concrete works, drainage, road works, masonry, and other civil works as required.
- Identify and resolve construction issues and report major problems to the project manager or site engineer.
- Maintain accurate records of daily activities, manpower, materials, and site progress.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements.
- Conduct toolbox talks and promote safe working practices.
- Monitor site housekeeping and ensure the work area remains clean and organized.
- Assist with material planning,



quantity requirements, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate inspections and ensure any defects or corrective works are addressed promptly.

Requirements

- Proven experience as a Civil Supervisor or in a similar construction supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of civil construction methods, materials, and site practices.
- Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications.
- Experience supervising construction workers and subcontractors.
- Good understanding of construction safety and quality standards.
- Ability to coordinate multiple activities and meet project deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Good communication and leadership abilities.
- Relevant civil engineering, construction, or technical qualification is preferred.
- Valid safety training or construction certifications are an advantage.

Experience

2+ years of relevant civil construction experience, including previous experience supervising teams and managing site activities.
