Associate Director of Business Development – International Expansion (U.S. to India)

About the Role
We're expanding into the Indian market and need a strategic, self-driven Business Development leader based in Chennai to own the full market entry journey — research, partnerships, go-to-market execution, and client acquisition. This role is the critical bridge between our U.S. leadership team and India-based partners.

This role is a strong fit if you have:
✅ Experience in U.S. healthcare and Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) — required
✅ A track record in business development, market entry, or international expansion
✅ Experience building partnerships, distributor relationships, or strategic alliances
✅ Comfort planning and running in-person conferences/events
✅ Strong cross-cultural communication skills and flexibility working across U.S. (Pacific) and India time zones
✅ A self-starter mindset — you can build strategy AND execute it

What You'll Do





- Research the Indian market and build a market entry & growth strategy
- Identify and develop local partnerships and strategic alliances
- Adapt messaging, pricing, and positioning for the Indian market
- Generate and close current business, managing key client relationships
- Plan and execute in-person conferences in India (venues, sponsorships, attendees, on-site management)
- Serve as the main liaison between U.S. teams and Indian stakeholders
- Track KPIs and report on pipeline, revenue, and market progress

Nice to Have

- Prior experience in the Indian market
- Familiarity with Indian regulatory/business practices
- Broader U.S. healthcare background beyond RCM

Must currently reside in Chennai, India

Flexible hours required to align with California-based leadership

Pay: ₹95,645.27 - ₹143,467.91 per month
