Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Store Manager to oversee the complete operations of our store and ensure smooth, efficient, and profitable business performance.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for store management, purchasing, vendor coordination, negotiations, inventory control, quality management, profitability, and identifying new business opportunities. The candidate should have strong commercial awareness and the ability to understand customer needs and changing market trends.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the day-to-day operations of the store and ensure smooth functioning.
- Plan and manage purchasing and procurement based on business requirements and stock levels.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely availability of products.
- Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships and negotiate pricing, payment terms, and other commercial conditions.
- Monitor and control inventory, stock movement, wastage, and discrepancies.
- Conduct regular stock audits and physical verification to maintain accurate inventory records.
- Ensure the quality of products/items received and maintained in the store.
- Monitor sales, expenses, margins, and other key business indicators to ensure profitability.
- Identify opportunities to improve margins, reduce costs, increase sales, and improve overall store performance.
- Understand customer requirements and market demand and ensure the store is adequately stocked with relevant products.
- Research and identify new market opportunities, products,



and business possibilities.
- Analyse market trends, competitor activities, pricing, and customer preferences.
- Identify changing customer needs and recommend suitable products or services.
- Work closely with management to develop and implement strategies for business growth and profitability.
- Maintain proper documentation and records related to purchasing, vendors, inventory, audits, and store operations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, operational standards, and quality requirements.
- Lead and coordinate store staff to maintain high standards of customer service, discipline, and operational efficiency.
