AP Statistics Online Tutor

Tutoring Maphy is looking for an experienced AP Statistics tutor to teach US high school students online.

What we're looking for

- Strong knowledge of AP Statistics
- Prior experience teaching AP Statistics to US high school students
- Excellent spoken English and clear, professional communication
- Comfortable teaching students at different ability levels
- Able to explain statistical concepts clearly rather than simply solve problems
- Familiarity with the current AP Statistics curriculum and AP-style questions
- Strong understanding of statistical reasoning, interpretation, and real-world applications
- Reliable internet, computer, webcam and a qualified teaching setup
- Able to work with students during US time zones, including early morning IST hours

Responsibilities

- Conduct 1-on-1 and/or small-group online AP Statistics classes
- Teach concepts, problem-solving strategies and AP-style questions




- Prepare students for both MCQ and FRQ sections
- Teach students how to interpret statistical results and communicate conclusions clearly
- Assign and review homework
- Track student progress and identify areas that need improvement

Important

We are looking for someone who can teach independently from an organized curriculum/material, rather than someone who needs to create teaching material from scratch for every class.

Experience with TI-84, Desmos, and other digital teaching tools is a plus.

Pay: ₹700.00 - ₹1,000.00 per hour
