Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and responsible Engineering & Maintenance Technician to join our hotel team. The candidate will be responsible for the smooth operation, preventive maintenance, and repair of the hotel’s electrical, HVAC, plumbing, mechanical, and other engineering systems.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in hotel maintenance, good troubleshooting skills, and the ability to respond quickly to maintenance requirements while maintaining guest comfort and safety.

Key Responsibilities

- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of hotel equipment, rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities.
- Attend and resolve guest-room maintenance complaints promptly.
- Maintain and troubleshoot electrical systems, lighting, switches, sockets, DBs, and electrical equipment.
- Handle basic HVAC/AC maintenance, including troubleshooting and routine servicing.
- Attend plumbing-related issues, including water leakage, drainage, sanitary fittings, pumps, and pipelines.
- Monitor and maintain DG sets, pumps, boilers, water treatment systems, and other engineering equipment, as applicable.
- Conduct regular inspections of engineering equipment and identify potential breakdowns.
- Maintain proper records of preventive maintenance, breakdowns, meter readings, and repair work.
- Ensure all engineering equipment is operated safely and efficiently.




- Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for AMC, repairs, and specialized maintenance work.
- Respond to emergency breakdowns and maintenance calls as required.
- Ensure compliance with hotel safety, fire & life-safety, and operational standards.
- Assist in maintaining energy and utility efficiency and report unusual consumption or equipment issues to the Engineering Supervisor/Chief Engineer.
- Follow all hotel policies, safety procedures, and departmental SOPs.

Requirements

- ITI / Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, HVAC, or related engineering field preferred.
- Previous experience in hotel engineering/maintenance will be an advantage.
- Good knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general maintenance.
- Ability to diagnose problems and carry out basic repairs independently.
- Valuable communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts, weekends, and holidays as required by hotel operations.

Preferred Experience

1–3 years of experience in hotel engineering, facility maintenance, or a similar role.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
