Estimation Engineer – (Interior Fit-Out)

Job Roles

1. Pre-Estimation & Study

- Study tender documents, BOQs, drawings, and specifications

- Understand scope based on design stages (Stage 1 to Detailed Drawings)

- Identify missing details, assumptions, and risks

2. Quantity Take-Off

- Prepare accurate quantity take-offs from drawings (AutoCAD/PDF)

- Measure civil, joinery, furniture, finishes, MEP, signage, and accessories

- Cross-check quantities with design & site teams

3. Costing & Rate Analysis

- Prepare item-wise rate analysis (material + labour)

- Coordinate with vendors for quotations and updated rates

- Apply margins, overheads, risk allowance, and contingency

4. Estimation Preparation

- Prepare estimation as per company SOP

- Covering letter

- Cost center–wise summary

- Detailed BOQ with specifications

- Prepare stage-wise budgets (concept, design, final)

5. Coordination

- Coordinate with design team for clarity on materials and details

- Coordinate with projects/site team for constructability inputs

- Coordinate with purchase team for preferred vendors & brands

6. Tender & Submission Support

- Prepare commercial offer and inclusions/exclusions

- Support clarifications during tender negotiation





- Revise estimates as per client or design changes

7. Post-Award Support

- Assist project team during handover of approved BOQ

- Support value engineering and cost control

- Assist in variation estimates and change orders

8. Documentation & Control

- Maintain estimation numbering and revision logs

- Maintain vendor quotation records

- Ensure estimation aligns with company margins and policies

9. Software & Tools

- AutoCAD (mandatory)

- Excel (advanced level)

- Basic knowledge of ERP / Zoho / estimation software preferred

10. Reporting

- Report to Estimation Head / Project Manager

- Submit estimates within defined timelines

- Participate in internal cost review meetings

- Commercial interior & turnkey fit-out knowledge

- Solid analytical and negotiation skills

- Attention to detail and accuracy

- Understanding of materials, finishes, and execution methods

Qualification & Experience

- Diploma / B.Tech in Civil Engineering or Interior Engineering

- 3–7 years experience in interior fit-out estimation (commercial projects preferred)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
