About the Role

We’re looking for a creative Video Editor who understands short-form storytelling and can edit engaging micro-drama / short-format videos for digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities

- Edit short micro-drama episodes and story-based videos.
- Create engaging, fast-paced edits that keep viewers hooked.
- Work on cuts, pacing, transitions, sound design, music, SFX and subtitles.
- Enhance emotions, drama and storytelling through editing.
- Work closely with the director/creative team to understand the story and vision.
- Edit content according to platform requirements, especially Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts.
- Deliver multiple videos within tight timelines while maintaining consistency and quality.

Requirements

- 2+ years of experience in video editing.




- Robust understanding of storytelling, pacing and emotional beats.
- Experience with short-form content, reels, web series or micro-dramas preferred.
- Proficiency in Premiere Pro / After Effects or equivalent editing software.
- Good understanding of sound effects, background music, subtitles and visual effects.
- Ability to work on multiple episodes/projects simultaneously.
- Portfolio / Showreel is mandatory.

Someone who can take raw footage and turn it into a highly engaging story that makes the audience want to watch the next episode.
