**We’re Hiring: Community & Growth Associate – Education | Gurugram**

**Location:** Gurugram / Gurgaon

SkillsNCR is building a different kind of learning experience for school students — one that goes beyond textbooks and marks.

We work with students to develop **practical skills, communication, confidence, presentation ability, AI exposure and real-world application of what they learn**, alongside structured academic learning.

We are now looking for someone who can become our **on-ground Community & Growth Associate in Gurugram**.

### What will you do?

You will work closely with the founder and help SkillsNCR connect with parents, students, schools, communities and local events.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Representing SkillsNCR at events, exhibitions, community gatherings and parent/student interactions
- Speaking confidently with parents and understanding their concerns about their child’s learning and development
- Explaining the SkillsNCR learning model in a simple and relatable way
- Hosting and coordinating workshops, student activities and small events
- Engaging children through discussions, activities, games, presentations and challenges
- Building relationships with schools, societies, parent communities and other local networks
- Identifying opportunities where SkillsNCR can conduct workshops or demonstrations
- Following up with interested parents and prospective students
- Experimenting with new ideas to generate awareness, enquiries and student enrolments

### We are especially looking for someone who:

✅ Is comfortable speaking with both parents and school-age children

✅ Has energy,



initiative and confidence to host a room or activity

✅ Can understand a parent's concern and connect it with what SkillsNCR offers

✅ Is comfortable working at events and on some weekends

✅ Lives in or around **Gurugram**

✅ Is willing to learn, experiment and take ownership rather than wait for instructions

Previous exposure to **education, EdTech, events, student communities, counselling, sales, business development, workshops or children's activities** would be useful — but attitude and communication matter more than years of experience.

### This may be a great fit for:

Recent graduates, MBA/BBA students, education professionals, event/community professionals, aspiring entrepreneurs, or early-career professionals who want hands-on exposure to building an education business.

### Important: This is not a desk internship.

We want someone who can **go out, meet people, build relationships, run experiments and help us discover what actually brings parents and students to SkillsNCR.**

As part of the selection process, we would love candidates to answer this:

**“If you joined SkillsNCR tomorrow and were given 30 days to generate student enquiries in Gurugram with a limited marketing budget, what would you do?”**

### Compensation

Initial **monthly stipend + performance-linked incentives**, with the possibility of transitioning into a larger/full-time role as SkillsNCR grows and based on your contribution.
